Wang On Properties (1243) is set to launch the first sales round of 60 units at their new development, Finnie, located at 9 Finnie Street, Quarry Bay, this Saturday (24th). The units, starting at a discounted price of HK$4.288 million, feature one-bedroom layouts. As of yesterday evening, the project had received over 450 registrations of interest for the initial 60 units, resulting in an oversubscription rate of more than 6.5 times. Additionally, starting this Friday, all eight specialty units will be put up for sale through a bidding process.
The first batch of 60 units is priced from HK$4.288 million to HK$8.543 million, with per square foot prices ranging from HK$17,502 to HK$23,470. The entry-level unit, unit A on the 3rd floor, has a practical area of 245 square feet. After applying the maximum discount, the price is HK$4.288 million, or HK$17,502 per square foot.
The sales will take place in Tsim Sha Tsui, divided into Group A for major buyers and Group B for individual buyers. In Group A, buyers must purchase at least two units and can purchase up to four units, but they cannot select more than two one-bedroom units. Meanwhile, those in Group B can purchase between one and two units.
The site at 3-9 Finnie Street in Quarry Bay was earlier sold for about HK$430 million in a loss-making deal. However, the transaction was later canceled, and the site was swiftly acquired by Wang On Properties for approximately the same price, with the land price per square foot estimated at around HK$10,200.
