(Leung Yuet-kam) Amid the possibility of cooling measures being eased, developers continued to accelerate the speed of launching stocks. Held by VMS Group, The Vertex in Cheung Sha Wan is launching furniture package discounts for three one-bedroom units of the development. VMS managing director Chan Yu-cheng said that the three units – each measuring 319 square feet – are located in Room C, on the 23rd, 25th, and 26th floors of the development’s west wing. The packages may extend to two-bedroom units, depending on buyers’ response. Since the re-sale of The Vertex in February of this year, 99 units were sold, adding up to HK$1.2 billion in sales. Collectively, the entire project has sold 288 units, generating a total of HK$2.7 billion.
Price per sq ft of a four bedroom penthouse at One Regent Place
As for first-hand transactions, Sun Hung Kai Properties’ One Regent Place in Yuen Long sold its remaining unit for HK$22 million, or HK$20,091, a record high for price per square foot. The unit is located in Room A on the 27th floor of Tower Two; a four-bedroom penthouse with a 897-square-foot private rooftop.
