Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) recently announced the latest developments for its Sai Sha integrated project, GO PARK. While the first phase of the mall and its accompanying sports park, "GO PARK Sports," officially opened in January this year, the second phase of the mall is scheduled to begin trial operations in the fourth quarter of 2025. The new mall will span approximately 56,000 square feet and house around 40 tenants, complementing the adjacent residential project, Sierra Sea.
According to the developer, the second phase is an expansion of the first phase of the GO PARK mall. The mall aims to cater primarily to the everyday needs of Sierra Sea’s residents, enhancing the overall living environment in the Sai Sha area.
The mall is currently recruiting tenants but has confirmed three key anchor tenants. YATA Japanese Supermarket will occupy approximately 10,000 square feet. The English Schools Foundation (ESF) Kindergarten will span 9,000 square feet and accommodate 300 K1 and K2 students, with enrollment beginning in Q3 2025. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Medical Center will provide comprehensive healthcare services.
The first phase of the GO PARK mall and sports park, which covers over 1.3 million square feet, has already been a success. Since its opening in January, it has attracted more than 500,000 visitors in just two months, with a retail occupancy rate of 90%.
