香港最老屋邨係邊條？憑咩租金貴其他公屋10倍？盤點全港7大老人邨

有72歷史的模範邨，位於車水馬龍的北角英皇道之上，四周都是現代化的商廈和酒店，唯獨模範邨像停留在歷史時空之中，是一個特別的存在。

模範邨的外型跟其他1950年代年落成的公屋外型不同，皆因它並非房屋署出品，而是由一個名為「香港模範屋宇會」的NGO興建，至1979年才由房屋署接管。

模範邨當年屬「廉租屋」，居民多為白領、小商人和部分較高收入的藍領，當年的月租高達140元，相比同期月租僅14元的「徙置區」石硤尾邨，足足高出10倍！故模範邨的環境比徙置區優勝得多，每個單位都設有獨立廚廁、客廳、睡房及露台，質素不輸私人住宅。

彷彿每條屋邨都曾經有名人居住過，樂壇巨星「校長」譚詠麟就是在模範邨成長，有指他小時候是「波牛」，常常在屋邨的球場流連及踢足球。
